About Patty
I am so pleased to have you visit my website and learn more about what my company has to offer. But first let me tell you about myself.
My name is Patty Hasson. Having grown up in the Hudson Valley region of New York, I arrived in Vermont about 40 years ago and have never looked back. My husband Tom and I settled in Barnard, VT 32 years ago after buying an 1850s yellow farmhouse that needed a lot of TLC. We have been renovating it ever since.
My interest in professional organizing came from personal experience. We moved my parents from their home of 50 years to a nearby independent living community. During that time, I realized the multitude of things that needed to be done to make this happen. Whether it was the physical move, the emotional journey, or the logistical efforts- it was hard to do. Since starting Yellow House Organizing in 2020, I have helped many people make this journey. It has been a very rewarding experience to help them settle into their new homes or see them enjoy newly organized spaces in their current homes.
Organizing is not for everyone but many want it to happen. Whether I am helping you move in or out or we are working together decluttering, downsizing, and organizing your home, I can make this process seem effortless. We will make a lot of progress in a short amount of time. Often you just need some motivation and support for getting started which is always overwhelming to many people. Once you see some progress it becomes so exciting to see your home in a whole new light!
